We began a new unit about the Heroes and Villains of the Bible in February. We study a different character from the Bible each week – some positive role models and some negative ones. The children will learn that they can be heroes in the real world by possessing the character traits that are taught through the stories in our Bible.
Marianne is making it fun for them by telling the Bible stories through the use of flannel board figures and by always having at least one craft project for them to make. They are also given colouring and activity pages relating to the lesson to work on at home, in order to reinforce the story. If you would like any of the handouts or crafts for lessons that your children missed, just let us know. Here are some photos of the crafts that have been done so far in this unit. Check back, as we’ll keep adding photos as the lessons progress!
